Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manitowoc County
May Match Event
Little Moments equal Big Magic for both "Bigs" & "Littles".
For our May 2009 Match Event, Bigs and Littles headed out to the Woodland Dunes Nature Center Annual Bird Breakfast. No, they did not serve birds for breakfast. Bigs & Littles did however enjoy a great, all you can eat, pancake breakfast prior to hitting the nature trails in search of birds and wetlands native creatures. After exploring the nature center Bigs & Littles participated in building bird houses and bird feeders with assistance from the staff of Andercraft Woods. Bigs & Littles also had the chance to check out a large 10-person Native American Tepee and observe bird banding in action. Thank you to the staff of Woodland Dunes for sharing your time and outdoor expertise.
