The 2009 June BBBS Match Event was held at the 141 Speedway in northern Manitowoc County. There was a great crowd of spectators and race fans to cheer on their favorite drivers. Bigs & Littles received special treatment in the VIP upper deck which allowed for great race viewing and the opportunity for our group to be together in our own reserved area. 141 Speedway offered a great choice of refreshments and food in addition to a big selection of race memorabilia. A brief rain shower passed over around 9 p.m. stopping the races for a short time. After a few minutes of track drying activity, the races resumed and races wrapped up by 10:35 p.m. Thanks 141 Speedway for being a great host and thanks to Katlyn Wotruba of Manitowoc for donating a bicycle she won in a raffle at the race track to BBBS.
