Match Event - July

A trip to Pinecrest Historical Village. Travel back in time to experience life in Manitowoc County during the 1850s to early 1900s. Learn how to flint knap, make butter and ice cream, cut firewood with hand tools, and play period yard games. A refreshment and snack will be served at the conclusion. Meet us at the parking lot at 1:00. Contact Carol at 684-7445 ext. 102 or cjens@bbbsmantycounty to register for the event.

  Match Event - August

  Reserve this date: Saturday, August 7 will be the annual Northeast Wisconsin Great Lakes Sports Fishermen / BBBS fish derby. Call James Anderson at 684-7445 ext. 103 or email jranderson@bbbsmantycounty.org to register and for more details. Watch for more news in the upcoming weeks.

EMPOWER

• When: Thursday, July 29, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
• Where: Big Brothers Big Sisters Office - 810 Washington Street, Manitowoc.
• Who: Parents, children, volunteers who have not fulfilled their obligation to complete this two hour mandatory prevention program should plan to attend.
• Sign Up: Please call the BBBS office 684-7445 to register at least two business days before the class.

Day Maker Program

Any youth that is currently enrolled in our program is eligible for the following FREE services at Empire Beauty School, formerly Martin's College of Cosmetology, located at 1034 South 18th Street, Manitowoc: Empire Beauty School offers some free services such as haircuts, Manicures, Pedicures, etc.

The Day-Maker Program hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Be sure to call BBBS to request an eligibility voucher. Bigs & Littles are encouraged to do this as an activity.
