A contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Manitowoc County is truly an investment in our local community. Each gift goes directly into our program, matching a child with a positive adult role model. Children matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister for at least one year are less likely to begin using alcohol or drugs, less likely to be involved in acts of violence and less likely to skip school. They are more likely to perform better in school and more likely to get along better with family and friends.

- Individual Support: Financial donations provide direct and immediate support. Common methods of giving are via cash, credit card, check, or electronic transfer.
- Bowl For Kids' Sake or Golf Fore Kids: If you care about kids and are looking for a way to do some team building at the office, then Bowl For Kids' Sake and Golf Fore Kids is right up your alley! Our Bowl For Kids' Sake and Golf Fore Kids events are Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature fundraising events. For more than 20 years, Bigs, Littles, donors, corporations, and other community members have been raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters in bowling lanes and golf courses across the country. - Corporate and Merchant Support: Partnering with our local corporate and merchant supporters is a great benefit to our Big/Little Matches! If you would like to participate by offering a BIG Deal, please contact us today at (920) 684-7445.
- In-Kind Donations: In lieu of a financial contribution, provide Big Brothers Big Sisters with donated products or services, such as office supplies, printing, video production, graphic design, event tickets, etc..
- Cars for Kids: Thinking of donating your old vehicle to charity? Think of Big Brothers Big Sisters! Big Brothers Big Sisters can make arrangements for the sale of your car, boat, camper or trailer at a dealer auction and use the sale proceeds to support mentoring of Manitowoc area children.
Your support will help to . . .
- Provide a mentor for Manitowoc children who need and want one;
- Cover some of the costs associated with interviews, screening and background checks, and selecting the best mentor for each child to ensure the highest levels of child safety and the best possible Big/Little match;
- Provide training materials to assist volunteers in developing effective relationships with the children with whom they are matched; and
- Provide group activities and special events for the Big/Little matches, that provide for activities and opportunities they might not otherwise be able to access.
